Sponsor a Thai Student to the POWER OF ONE Program
All of our Thai students are sponsored to the Power of One program. Without the support of sponsors these students would not have this opportunity. Without our Thai students, the program would not be what it is. The cost to send a Thai student on the program is $1650 US. A contribution of any amount is welcome.
The Blue Star of Hope is working diligently to enhance our scholarship opportunities to the POWER OF ONE program. Until that time, the staff can offer many fund raising ideas and suggestions to students interested in joining the Program.
The Higher Education Fund:
- Currently Blue Star of Hope is sending two Thai girls to high school. In Thailand many high school fees are not sanctioned by the government and thus the responsibility falls to the family. These two students hail from a rural village with few opportunities therefore; without this support it is unlikely that these young girls would have been able to continue their education.
- Blue Star of Hope values education and hopes for ALL of our students the opportunity to continue their studies. One of our former students showed us such dedication , hope for his future and academic excellence that we felt an obligation to help him achieve his goals. Thus we have committed to funding his university education in Bangkok for the entire four year degree. He is currently majoring in engineering and continues to be at the top of his class. We are so proud of him!
